It was a beautiful spring day, May 1st. Everything aligned perfectly for us to visit this stunning place—what used to be a landfill for foundry and other waste in an old quarry, now transformed into a blooming arboretum. I’m sharing a few photos for you to take a look at and offering a tip for a trip. Sun, fresh air, relaxation. What more could one wish for? Just 3 km from the arboretum is the well-known Sovinec Castle, but that’s a story for another time.

Part of our old country house, which was builded in the end of the 18th century by a German family, are cosy flats offering space if you want to stay with us for a while.
