Living in Moravský Karlov
We offer for rent an apartment, garden, and non-residential spaces, which are part of a large rural homestead. The fairly spacious apartment is located on the first floor of the house. It includes a large living kitchen with tiled stoves, a bathroom, and two bedrooms.
All rooms are heated by central heating connected to a gas boiler, and in the living kitchen, you can also heat with wood. The apartment has its own gas meter and electricity meter. Monthly energy costs are roughly 3,700 CZK, depending on the severity and length of the winter.
Water comes from a private 26-meter deep drilled well. It is of very high quality and always available in sufficient quantity. Wastewater is managed through an on-site water treatment facility.
The garden features cultivated beds, old fruit trees, and a ten-year-old linden tree.
The monthly rent for all the mentioned spaces is 10,000 CZK, not including gas and electricity costs. By agreement, we can share larger machines and tools, which we offer as neighborhood support. We also arrange the purchase of food from local or home-grown sources.
Okolní lesy nabízejí ke sběru dostatek divokých plodin: borůvky, maliny, ostružiny... Stráně v okolí jsou plné mateřídoušky, jitrocele, kontryhelu a dalších léčivých bylinek. Zážitky s horami a soužití s přírodou bývají velmi uklidňující a naplňující, ale zároveň mohou být i frustrující, očekáváte-li, že se Vám přizpůsobí. Stále se učíme přijímat její proměny. Žijeme tu rádi už 20 let.
Jsme rodina Zdeněk(50), Helena(48) a děti Ondřej(20), Luboš a Jindra(17), Ludmila(11).
Za tu dobu jsme hodně pokročili v respektu a toleranci vůči druhým lidem, především díky společnému soužití dvou rodin. Svým myšlením inklinujeme více k přírodě a její ochraně, k soběstačnosti a rovnoprávnosti lidí vůbec, podle zásady „žij a nechej žít“.
